Abstract
Objective : The objective of this study is to analyze the interventions for patients with schizophrenia carried out by domestic and foreign occupational therapists to provide evidence for occupational therapy in psychiatric rehabilitation.
Methods : Scopus, Pubmed, Google Scholar, RISS, KISS and National Library of Korea were searched from 2005 to 2015. Key search terms were used "Schizophrenia AND Occupational therapy". After the secondary classification, the exclusion criteria were applied. A total of 12 papers were used in the analysis.

Results : The results revealed the level of quality and trends of study, the types of interventions and the environment, dependent variables and assessment tool. The number of papers tended to be increasing and the study design has become more diverse. Most frequently conducted interventions applied to Schizophrenia were Activities, Client-centered approach and Cognitive training interventions and more than half of the interventions were conducted in the hospitals. Symptom was the most selected dependent variable and 'Scale for Assessment for Negative Symptoms(SANS)' was the most used assessment tool in studies.

Conclusion : Through this study, we provided evidence for occupational therapy in mental rehabilitation. In the future, researchers should clarify the role of the occupational therapist in mental rehabilitation. In addition, studies are needed for a variety of intervention.
